(85,000 words, science-fiction)  Aided by evolved humans called stargods, Villimy Dy and Chayn Jahil are orphans of scattered legions of archaic humanity who slept away the eons in transports escaping the galactic invasion of the Galaxy of Man by the Kigon.  Dedicating their lives to helping humanity who seek refuge among the stars of Andromeda, Chayn and Villimy encounter Star Rashanon, a civilization preparing for war with the Blackstar aliens, paralyzed by fear and dying a slow death of attrition before the conflict is even begun.  Accused of being agents of the Dark Stargod, Chayn and Villimy battle religious tyranny, fanaticism and terror in their desperate attempt to escape worlds facing imminent destruction.

Book Two:  Hydrabyss

(75,000 words, science-fiction)  Chayn Jahil and Villimy Dy continue their adventures when they encounter a Kigon starship circling a dwarf red sun in the halo of ancient suns surrounding the central regions of Andromeda.  Within the depths of a water world boiling away in the cool heat of its primary, Chayn and Villimy encounter refugee humans, a race who have build cities on asteroids dropped into the depths of the planetary ocean, and a self-modified species of water-faring human who have build reefs of life modified from their own DNA.  They encounter a war between a people desperate for METAL and an alien artificial intelligence who was once humanity's only hope for survival, an electronic god holding captive the souls of millions and the key to the survival of a people blinded by the panic of their own approaching extinction.

Book Three:  Nemydia Deep

pdf free to read     buy hardcover     buy paperback

(85,00 words, science-fiction)  Chayn Jahil and Villimy Dy's final adventure takes them to the Nemydia Deep, a nebula sculpted by exploding suns, inhabited by the most alien of all beings.  The paradise of one species is the living hell of another, and humanity has been driven from the suns dying at the hand of the Nemydians, running haplessly into the arms of an intelligence fated to end all human life within Andromeda.  The Guardians of the Worlds of Man were to have arrived in Andromeda prior to the first of the sublight transports fleeing the Kigon invasion.  An encounter with a mindspider, the same life form that ended Villimy Dy's people's bid for survival in Andromeda, disrupted the Guardian timetable.  The Guardians arrived late and found Andromeda teeming with life that its Programming says cannot possibly be human.  A million Earth-like worlds have been terraformed by a benefactor turned destroyer of unrecognized humanity.

Battlefields of Silence

pdf free to read     buy hardcover     buy paperback

(76,000 words, science-fiction)  War will be humanity's nemesis until it threatens the very survival of the species.  War is anger and rage, but it can also be waged in fear, and it is with fear, especially fear of the unknown, that humanity can gain insight into its behavior and stay its hand.  In centuries to come, humanity has ruined its world and moved into space.  In doing so, it has adapted to life in a zero gravity environment and exiled itself from its own home world turned paradise in its absence.  But there are strange visitors living upon the Earth, and alien forces moving in from the stars, and the warring Inner System Alliance and the Outer System Federation are forced to join forces in defense against a rogue Jovan pilot and renegade Lunan anthropologist and a race of parthenogenic women who will guide them in their confrontation with those who rule the stars.

Battlefields was published with the Timequest Trilogy, but is not a part of that story line...
